About Us

Providing Second Chances Through Supported Housing

Second Chance Housing was founded with a simple mission: to offer safe, stable, and supportive housing that empowers people to rebuild their lives. We believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to start again — with dignity, respect, and the right support.

Our services are delivered under Exempt Accommodation provisions, which means we don’t just provide a roof over someone’s head — we offer tailored, housing-related support that promotes independence and well-being.

Who We Support

We work with individuals who are:

  • Leaving the criminal justice system
  • At risk of homelessness
  • Living with complex needs, such as mental health conditions or substance misuse histories
  • Ready to take steps toward stability and reintegration

Our referrals come from local authorities, probation services, housing associations, and community organisations who trust us to deliver more than just housing — they trust us to deliver transformation.

Our Approach

Our lean, focused team — including a Scheme Manager, Housing Support Worker, and Cleaner — deliver structured, person-centred support that makes a difference. We:

  • Promote life skills and tenancy management
  • Provide daily emotional and practical support
  • Encourage independence while maintaining safety and oversight
  • Connect residents with local services and community resources

We do not provide personal care, but we go beyond basic housing — offering consistent, compassionate support to help residents gain confidence and move forward.
